28 breakfast spots and coffee shops in Atlanta, from Midtown and downtown cafes to East Atlanta and the Westside, with hours from their own sites.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Atlanta’s coffee shops cluster in Midtown along Peachtree and West Peachtree streets, in downtown and Castleberry Hill, and in the east side neighborhoods of East Atlanta, Kirkwood and Inman Park. Sit-down breakfast places sit on Howell Mill Road, West Paces Ferry Road and Piedmont Avenue.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Atlanta city limits, the same records behind our local business directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. LaVazza’s details come from the Atlantic Station directory. We dropped West Egg Cafe, whose site says it has closed. The list is alphabetical; it is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry. For weekend brunch, see our brunch list.
