Egg hunts

No Atlanta egg hunt had posted a 2027 date when we checked. These ran in 2026:

  • Friends of East Atlanta Family Fun Day and Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 4, 2026, 3 to 5 p.m. at Coan Park, listed by its organizer on Eventbrite.
  • Drop-In Family Program: Natural Egg Dyeing, Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Ave. NE, 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 28, and Friday, April 3, 2026 (2026 program page).

City of Atlanta parks and recreation centers post their own spring events on the city calendar; we will list each 2027 hunt here, with ages and times, as it is announced.

Spring at the Botanical Garden

The Atlanta Botanical Garden’s spring bulb show was Atlanta SUPER Blooms! in 2026, with thousands of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths planted on the new Great Lawn for the first time. The garden had not posted its 2027 spring display on Oct. 6 (Atlanta Blooms page).

Easter services

Churches post their Holy Week and Easter schedules during Lent. The Episcopal Cathedral of St. Philip in Buckhead keeps a Holy Week page. We add 2027 service times here only from each church’s own website.

Easter brunch

No Atlanta restaurant had posted a 2027 Easter brunch when we checked. Restaurants that serve a regular weekend brunch, with days and hours from their own websites, are in our brunch guide. We will add Easter menus as restaurants announce them.

What is open

Easter is not a city holiday: the City of Atlanta’s 2026 holiday collection schedule has no Easter change to trash and recycling pickup (Public Works), and MARTA’s holiday operating schedule does not list Easter, so the normal Sunday schedule applies (MARTA).
