Free for fathers

Atlanta History Center Midtown, Sunday, June 21, 2026, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All dads got free admission at the Margaret Mitchell House, 979 Crescent Ave. NE. The offer was walk-up only and could not be used for online tickets. Parking is limited to a small free lot across the street, and the History Center points visitors to the Midtown MARTA station a block away. The 2027 offer had not been posted on Oct. 6. Juneteenth weekend

  • Juneteenth at Atlanta History Center, Friday, June 19, 2026, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 130 West Paces Ferry Road NW, with free tickets, performances and activities (2026 event page).
  • Juneteenth Atlanta Parade and Music Festival, June 19-21, 2026, in Piedmont Park, hosted by an outside organizer, not the park conservancy (Piedmont Park calendar).
  • Shows for Seedlings: Celebrate Juneteenth, a children’s performance at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, 10 to 11:15 a.m. June 19, 2026 (2026 event page).

In 2026, all City of Atlanta outdoor pools, recreation centers and natatoriums closed for Juneteenth (ATL311), the city listed a one-day trash pickup delay (Public Works), and MARTA ran Saturday schedules (MARTA).
