12 barbecue restaurants in Atlanta, from Summerhill and South Downtown to the Westside, Cascade and Piedmont Avenue, with hours from their own sites.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Atlanta’s barbecue spreads across the city instead of one strip: Summerhill and South Downtown near the stadiums, Memorial Drive in Grant Park, the Westside on Chattahoochee Avenue, Collier Road and Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, and Cascade in southwest Atlanta.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Atlanta city limits, the same records behind our local business directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. Places marked † were added or confirmed from the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection database, which shows a food service inspection at that address in 2026. We take hours only from a place’s own site, so † places show none. The list is alphabetical; it is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
