Attendance zone
Zones are drawn by Atlanta Public Schools, so a neighborhood name or mailing address does not settle which school a home is zoned for. Check the address with the APS School Zone Locator; the district’s Carver zone map shows the cluster’s high school boundary.
The district’s feeder list ends the Carver cluster at “Carver”: the Carver campus on McDonough Boulevard, which Carver Early College shares with STEAM Academy at Carver. The cluster’s middle schools are Price Middle and Sylvan Hills Middle, and its elementary schools are Slater Elementary, Finch Elementary, Kindezi at Gideons and Perkerson Elementary, according to the district’s feeder pattern list.
We found no board-approved rezoning that changes Carver Early College’s zone. In December 2025 the Atlanta Board of Education approved Phase 1 of APS Forward 2040, the district’s long-range facilities plan, which closes six schools in fall 2027, according to the district. The zone changes that follow, which the board is scheduled to vote on Monday, Dec. 7, are centered on the closing elementary schools; draft maps are on the district’s APS Forward 2040 page.
